HTC M7 Global Launch on March 8

HTC is expected to unveil its much rumored flagship device, code-named M7, at a press conference this month. The company has confirmed the event for February 19 in New York and London where they would introduce their new and improved smartphone that would replace their popular One series.

According to HTC sources, the device will release internationally on March 8 and will hit the US market as soon as possible. Above all, the device is coming through all the major US carriers.

It was earlier rumored  that HTC has plans to launch a flagship device similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II on all US carriers and M7 will be the device.

Rumors suggest that 3 major US carriers except T-Mobile will be launching this device with 4G LTE support. The  M7 comes in multiple color options including black, aluminum and white model.

About its specifications, it will be equipped with a 4.7-inch 1080 p full HD SLCD3 display, a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and possibly a Tegra 4 or the new Snapdragon 600 series. On the storage front, it will hold 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also feature an impressive 12-megapixel rear camera, Jelly Bean OS, Sense UI 5.0 and a 2,300 mAh battery.

If these all turn true, then HTC’s new flagship device would launch before the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S IV and therefore probably would get a better start in the market.
