HTC is Preparing M4 and G2 Devices to Launch with M7

The HTC M7 is definitely hitting the stores by February 19th but now it seems that this Taiwanese mobile phone maker is planning to add two more handsets to debut along with the M7. Sources say  they will be known as HTC M4 and HTC G2.

The M4 is believed to be a premium device like M7 but with some changes in spec list.

Probably, it sports a dual-core 1.4GHz processor made by Snapdragon, along with a 2GB of RAM. According to Unwired View, the M4 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with HTC’s Sense 5.0 UI. The M4 features a 4.3-inch screen with 720p.

It has a combination of 13-megapixel rear-camera shooter and a 1.6-megapixel front camera capable of capturing 1080p. The device is reportedly holds a 1700mAh battery.

The HTC G2 will have limited features and it is meant for a mass market. This entry-level smartphone will compete with Samsung’s cheaper priced Galaxy smartphones. It will have a 3.5-inch display, 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex processor and a 512MB RAM. The device will come with 4GB of built in storage, micro SD and a 1400 mAh battery. HTC has provided a 5- megapixel camera on the device and it is pre-installed with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Right now, no word on the exact launching dates for the M4 and the G2 but the source reports suggest a next month release for the M4 and G2.
