HTC Desire 600 Arrives in India; Priced Rs 26,860

The HTC Desire 600 has launched in India and is currently available for purchase at some of the e-retailers. The handset that was first introduced in last May features a quad core processor and many high-end specs.


This budget-friendly smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset that is capable of clocking in a speed of 1.2GHz. The device also holds 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a 1.6-megapixel front camera.

The HTC Desire 600 sports a 4.5-inch qHD multi-touch display, an accelerometer and sensors to detect proximity and light. On the rear, it holds an 8-megapixel auto focus shooter along with a LED flash. As for memory, the HTC Desire 600 comes with 8 GB of inbuilt memory that can be expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card.

The 1860 mAh battery on the handset can last up to 11.1 hours in the WCDMA mode and 11.4 hours in GSM. Moreover, its maximum standby time is claimed to be about 577 hours.

The HTC Desire 600 is preloaded with Android 4.1 OS and the device supports connectivity options such as Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and Wi-Fi. It also offers Beats Audio technology and BoomSound with frontal stereo speakers and built-in amplifiers.
