Chinese Tablet Manufacturer Freelander Announces its PD800HD with Exynos 5250 Processor

In China, no chip makers are currently offering the ARM Cortex-A5 MPCore yet a few Chinese tablet makers have added this chip to their devices. The Cortex A15 core is said to be 40 percent more powerful than the Cortex-A9 core.

A lot of tablet manufacturers in China are introducing tablets with Samsung’s 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250 dual-core processor. And interestingly, all these tablets have had the same Retina-like displays and sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

Freelander P800HD

The latest name in the list is the Freelander. This Chinese tablet manufacturer is going to introduce their latest tablet device named PD800HD with Samsung’s 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250 dual-core processor.

According to Geekbuying, the PD800HD will sports a 9.7-inch display and has a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. It also includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The tablet supports HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth and front and rear cameras.

The company is also offering another tablet device named the Freelander P80HD and it has almost similar spec as that of PD800HD. But the Freelander P80HD comes with a high resolution and a Rockchip RK3188 quad-core CPU.
