BSNL Cuts Incoming Roaming Plans

Indian telecom subscribers very well are aware that Vodaphone, Airtel and Idea Cellular in offering free domestic incoming roaming services. As if not to be left behind in the race state run BSNL is also toeing the same line and has introduced plans that cut incoming roaming charges. However, no discounts on outgoing calls and both national and local calls are offered and the users will be charged 1.5 paisa per second for making calls while on roaming mode.


The state-owned telecom company has released two special tariff vouchers which slash incoming roaming call rates. A Rs 5 recharge has a day’s validity, while a Rs. 69 recharge ensure a month free of incoming calls with no additional cost.

For pre-paid customers, BSNL has offered Roaming Tariff Plans  for Rs. 405 and Rs. 705. For post-paid customers, the service provider has provided options of Rs. 145 and Rs. 625 schemes that packs both free incoming and outgoing calls and text messages. Post paid customers who opt for a month’s free incoming call can opt for Rs. 149 or Rs. 825 tariff plans.
