AT& T Announces the Pantech Flex

Pantech, the low cost manufacturer in the US, had earlier announced its new handset, but it was delayed. The device is now again doing the rounds. The device christened Pantech Flex has been announced by AT &T.

The device offers a unique experience and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The handset also sports the traditional mode based on the prioritized customer apps. You can switch between traditional and easy modes depending on your preference.

The device is expected to be a high-end smartphone on AT&T’s expanding 4G LTE network.

Pantech Flex sports a 4.3 inches qHD Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 resolution that provides better display.

The other specifications include an 8 mega pixel rear end camera capable of 1080p full HD video recording and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The front camera is used for face to face video chat.

The SwiftKey keyboard technology in the device makes typing easier by learning a user’s natural language and thus reduces the number of strokes from the user end.

The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and an 8GB microSD is provided, that is expandable to 32GB.

For those who want to purchase the device , it is only available through the AT &T online and via retail stores for low price of $49.99 on a two year contract starting September 16.
