ASUS Qube to Launch on April 23

At CES 2013, Asus first unveiled its Google TV set-top box named ‘Qube’ and now the company is all set to launch this device.

As its name suggests, it is a cube shaped device that  promises very fast interface and loading time. The whole package includes remote device to control the interface.

At the back of the device, you can see a full-QWERTY keyboard. A microphone is also attached to the device which enables voice control. For connectivity, the device features two USB sockets and a HDMI port.

Asus has included its own UI, which you can control by using either the Qube’s own motion sensitive remote, or through any Android device with a companion app.

It is powered by an ARMADA 1500 processor and includes 4GB of flash storage for apps and 1GB of RAM. While purchasing the Qube device, you get 50GB of cloud storage.

The Qube will launch on 23rd April. The company has attached a tag of $129. However, ASUS hasn’t revealed any information on availability .
