5 Things to Expect from Apple WWDC 2013

Apple’s highly anticipated WWDC 2013 event will kick start on June 10 in San Francisco. During the event Apple is expected to unveil its next iOS 7 and a new version of OS X. What else might you expect from Apple’s big event? Here’s our list of best predictions based on rumors.

iOS 7


Rumors suggest that Apple would introduce its new OS version the iOS 7 at this years’ WWDC. It is expected that the latest iOS would have a more modern and flat design along with a revamped home screen and improved gesture support features. The new OS would also include features like AirDrop wireless file-sharing capabilities and a improved car integration.

New MacBooks 


According to one KGI Securities analyst, Apple may be introducing a thinner version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro along with a full HD camera. As Intel has launched its Haswell chips that delivers long battery lie, it would be the right time for Apple for a refreshed MacBook.



Apple is reportedly planning a new ad-supported radio service to compete with other music services like Pandora. This music service will be called the iRadio. Rumors indicate that Apple has recently signed a licensing agreement with Warner Music Group and Universal and planning to unveil the radio service at WWDC 2013.

iOS Gets More Open for Developers


In a recent press conference, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple’s iOS will be more open for developers. In other words, Apple will allow developers to add more features such as SwiftKey.

OS X 10.9


If the rumors are true, Apple is prepping to introduce the next version of OS X, and it could offer new features like a new tabbed browsing and tags system along with improved speed and efficiency. The latest OS X 10.9 should also offer more integration with iOS7.
