If a customer prefers not to buy it after the retail value and specifications are unveiled, then Rs. 5,000 paid will be refunded. The company has also put up a contest, under which 10 lucky pre-bookers will be able to attend the exclusive launch event and they will be presented their handsets.

India Now the World’s Third Biggest Smartphone Market

A recent study  by Strategy Analytics suggests that India has pushed Japan to become the world’s third-biggest smartphone market in Q1 o this year. The report also suggests that it is the first time that India has moved up to the third position, after China and the US.

The research experts say that India’s smartphone market is growing four times faster than the global average with 163 per cent in the first quarter of 2013, where as the global average is at 39 per cent.

Review: Videocon A55HD

Videocon has launched a new quad-core powered smartphone device, A55HD in the Indian market. This is the third 5-inch smartphone from Videocon for India and can be currently pre-ordered online. The device will face stiff competition from SpiceStellar Prime Mi-510, the Lava Iris 504q and other budget smartphones.

A55HD has a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels and features a 5-inch OGS touch screen. The device runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and is fueled by a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU.

Lenovo K900 Intel Clover Trail+ Handset Now Available Rs 28,999

Lenovo’s K900 Android phablet is now ready for sale in India. The device could be brought from company’s official e-store in India. There is also a limited period offer provided to the consumers by which they will be able to buy the product at a price of Rs. 28,999 after a discount of Rs.4,000.

The K900 was announced to be launched in India earlier this month, but the products would be available at retails stores across the country by next month although the company has started its sales via e-store.
